JUDGE: Mrs Alison Hinsley

 Firstly I would like to thank the Officers and committee for giving me the opportunity to judge my first club show and my stewards who kept my ring running so smoothly. And last but not least, I would like to thank the exhibitors who brought their dogs for my opinion and accepted all my decisions so sportingly. I thoroughly enjoyed my day.

 

VETERAN BITCH 3  

1st.  NORTON`S, STORMPIKE CLEOPATRA OF TIKKURILAN. Bl/br at the age of 9 years, still having considerable virtues, a good mouth and body wise in good condition with only the greying around her muzzle giving away her years. A very neat standard size bitch. A grand lady enjoying her day out. BEST VETERAN in agreement with my co judge

 

2nd. ROGER`S, BERRYSTOCK MYSTIC POTION. Bl/br bitch very similar to 1, and also 9 years old. Once again in lovely body and coat   condition, just lost out to 1 on dental condition.

 

3rd.  GREEN`S, MISS DREAM MAKER AT DENNYSTAFF

 

MINOR PUPPY BITCH 4

1st.  McDERMOTT`S, MACADERMUS SUMMER LADY,  Bl/br puppy aged 7 months and everything in right place at this age. Neat ears and strong head with good stop and bite. I would have preferred a cleaner muzzle but at this age I am sure she will grow into it. Straight front with great bone, good backend, moved well enough holding a level topline, pump handle tail and good coat condition.

2nd. HALE & KEMP`S. CAYMENSTAFFS KER SERRA SERRA. Bl/br pup aged 6 months, another nice baby with a lot of the attributes of 1. But I just preferred the substance and ear carriage of my winner in this class.

3rd.  WALL & WEBB`S, HAMMYSTAFF HOT TO TROT

 

PUPPY BITCH 5

1st.  HARVEY`S, KYRALOEBIS SWEETEST TABOO. At the age 10 months, a real little beauty with fine chiselled head and the darkest of eyes giving her a beautiful expression, clean muzzle and a mouth full of large white teeth set correctly, neat ear carriage. Straight front, correct feet, good rib and tuck up with correct bend of stifle and strong backend. Moved well. RBB,BPB and BPIS in agreement with my co judge.

2nd. PARKINSON`S, MISS DIOR OF WERRINGTON. Bl/br with white paw aged 12 months. Slightly heavier construction than 1, but a standard, strong puppy who seemed a bit bewildered today by what was being asked of her. I’m sure with a bit more practice the handler will get more from her.

3rd. HALE & KEMP`S. CAYMENSTAFFS KER SERRA SERRA.

 

JUNIOR BITCH 5

1st.  DOLPHIN`S, ALPORT BLACK INK AT DELPHINSTAFF. Glossy black with beautiful muscle definition, fine chiselled head set off with piercing eyes, good dentition, neat feet and good front construction. Shown in fit, hard condition with powerful backend, enabling her to move true with a level topline.

2nd.  KENDALL`S, JAJACA`S WHERE DREAMS ARE MADE. Bl/br youngster with a lot of 1`s virtues, although slightly heavier in construction. I just preferred my winner’s cleaner lines and expression.

3rd. WILSON & ROGERS`S, OZZIES RED RASCAL

 

YEARLING BITCH 4 (1)

1st.  NORTON`S, PENDLESTAFF BRINDLE BABE AT TIKKURILAN. Bl/br bitch in super condition with tight fitting jacket. Strong head with clean muzzle housing large white teeth correctly placed, neat ears, straight front construction and powerful hindquarters enabled this girl with drive.

2nd. MOSS`S, LAMICHEVA ENVY. Bl/br who was placed Res in my Junior class. Standard bitch with plenty of substance who moved ok. Coat in good condition just not the muscle tone of 1.

3rd.  MINER`S, BLAZINSTAFF ELECTRA WITH ILUVSTAFFIES

 

NOVICE BITCH 3

1st.  WILSON & ROGERS`S, OZZIES RED RASCAL. Red with good pigmentation. Clean head, correct bite with neat ears carriage. Straight front, good tuck up and hindquarters. Moved well holding a level topline. Shown in good condition.  

2nd.  MOSS`S, LAMICHEVA ENVY.

3rd.  MINER`S, BLAZINSTAFF ELECTRA WITH ILUVSTAFFIES

 

GRADUATE BITCH 1

1st.  FELL & SMITH`S, SCRATCHLINE SQUAW. Bl/br, powerfully built girl who was top size. Strong head with good expression, dark eyes, neat ears and clean muzzle housing very large canines correctly set. Powerful neck and shoulders flowing into a strong backend. Moved well.

LIMIT BITCH 1

1st.  ROGERS`S, WAYSTAFF DESERT ORCHID AT BERRYSTOCK. Bl/br who was probably the fittest exhibit here today, she rippled with muscle. Standard size bitch with clean head, dark eye and good ear carriage. Her front and hind construction is good. Unfortunately today her movement let her down as she galloped up and down the mat purely for the fun of it

 

OPEN BITCH 3 (1)

1st.  McGRATH`S, JAJACA`S SWEET DREAM JW. Bl/br bitch who in my opinion fits the standard to a “T” with no exaggerations. Sculptured head with dark eyes and neat ears, muzzle clean with good scissor bite and strong underjaw. Shown in fit and clean condition. Straight front, neat feet, good tuck up, strong hindquarters and pump handle tail. This bitch has plenty of bone and her muscle tone is clearly on view, but she still retains her femininity. BB & RBIS on the referee’s decision.

2nd. STANWAY`S, WAYSTAFF DUTCH PEARL. White bitch who truly was “pearly” white with coat in gleaming condition and very good pigmentation. Dark piercing eyes give her a great expression and has many of the attributes of 1, but just lost out on muscle tone and fitness.
