Bitches Critique
JUDGE: Mr T TAYLOR
Veteran Bitch 2
1st Leyland`s, Fieldstaff
Lighting Star – 10 year old standard red bitch who stood like a trooper. Nice
head shape, straight front, short back giving good balance. A little overweight
but she moved better than second coming and going. BVB
2nd Essex`s, Rowellstaff Top Hatter with Javawolf – Beautifully conditioned 7 year old red and white
bitch. A lighter bitch all round and quite appealing for style, she was beaten
on balance and movement.
Minor Puppy Bitch 2 (1)
1st Matthews & Jones`s, Gallanstaff Precious
Gift – Very pretty headed baby with a lovely expression. Raw in the body and
still a lot to fall into place as it should do with a little time.
Puppy Bitch 6
1st Stanway, McCulloch & Russell`s, Waystaff Dutch Pearl – Appealing headed white puppy who for
me, excels from the neck back over. Lovely balance throughout and made well.
She moved very well in the class but was startled at the end by the PA system.
I hope it doesn’t bother her in the future. BPB
2nd Payton`s, Sunnystone Party Girl at Tonpay
– Bigger bitch than the winner with a bit more bone and substance. Not the balance in her make up hence her place here.
3rd Woolliscroft`s, Hillanvale Orange Princess
Junior Bitch 4 (1)
1st Sheldon`s, Crossguns Maddy –
Bog standard black brindle bitch. Nicely headed with the
correct proportions although a bit lippy. Nicely
bodied up. She move erratically but I managed a glimpse that she was
sound which secured her place over the second on general balance.
2nd Payton`s, Sunnystone Party Girl at Tonpay
3rd Kent`s, Domaine Juliette
Yearling 4 entries 2 absent
1st Dewar`s, Mintmar One For One – Really nice bitch who
ticked most of the boxes for me. Smashing head shape with a great expression,
you could see the devilment in her face. Nicely bodied and balanced both fore
and aft. I do think however she is a bit longer cast than she should be but
this didn’t detract from her overall. Moving was a bit of epic – she did
eventually get the hang of it and I think that she has a different idea on
behaviour than her handler. Keep with it she is worth the effort RBB.
2nd Bullock`s, Shining Star Supremo – Standard black
brindle bitch with decent head shape but lacks a bit foreface. Straight front
supported on good feet. Adequate bend of stifle, she moved well enough fore and
aft but lost her topline.
Novice Bitch 2 (2)
Graduate Bitch 2
1st Dewar`s, Mintmar One For One
2nd Payton`s, Sunnystone Party Girl at Tonpay
Post
Graduate 1
1st Ackley`s, Rosegold Tasha’s
Angel – Substantial bitch and a lot of girl all round. Large
skull and badly undershot. Well off for bone and turned out in cracking
order.
Mid Limit Bitch 3
1st Foster & McDonald`s, Tusselstaff Black
Fury – Lovely headed black brindle with an expression to die for. Liked her
overall make and shape but again a bit long cast. She moved really well both
fore and aft and was in the shake up at the death.
2nd Rhodes`s, Jayneze Midnight Requiem – Bang standard
black brindle with a shorter back and coupling than the winner. However, she
didn’t match 1 in head or body properties.
3rd Essex`s, Javawolf Mogwai
Limit Bitch 6 (2)
1st Patrick`s, Trawden Jet Black at Paljaz
– Brindle bitch who was pleasing all round. Nicely ribbed
with a good front and back end. She beat second on her more compact body
and cleaner head.
2nd Martin`s, Lisa’s Lucky Charm at Alvis – Red and white,
another pleasing bitch who just wasn’t as clean in the head as required. Lovely
front and good bend to her stifle. Beat 3rd on her better movement.
3rd Stanway & Albutt`s, Crashkon
Pussy Cat Doll.
Open Bitch 6 (1)
1st Johnston & Brown`s, Tusselstaff Little
Cracker – And what a little cracker she is! Easily the winner
of this class and BB here today. Smashing head shape clean and defined
throughout. Super fronted supported on good feet, nicely
ribbed and short in the back and coupling. She is a tad overangulated behind. Only thing lacking for me is a bit of
animation and enthusiasm but that is never going to detract from her qualities. BIS.
2nd Wild`s, ildstaff Jo Black – Bigger bitch than the
winner and a bit more coarse throughout. Good skull size with a broad muzzle
and strong underjaw. Not as balanced in the body as
the winner but moved soundly.
3rd Cordwell`s, Waystaff Strikes Twice.
