  I would like to thank the officers and committee of the Potteries SBT Club for inviting me to judge dogs at your open show. I enjoyed my day and many thanks to my stewards and to all exhibitors who allowed me to assess their dogs.

 

 

VETERAN DOG 2

 1st. Harkin’s, Ch Harkline Robbie The Bruce JW, b/br, nice typy head, clean and balanced with good proportions, tidy ears, dark eye and tight lip, nice bone and neat well padded feet, short in body with good coat and condition. Best Veteran in Show.

 

2nd.  Morrell’s, Niatona The Boy Wonder,br , strong deep through head with dark eye, broad front and well off for bone, nice tight feet short nails, good tailset, good pigmentation.

 

MINOR PUPPY DOG 2 (2)

 

PUPPY DOG 4

1st. Stanway’s, Waystaff Strikes Out, white/br,  pup of good proportions, nice size to skull, good length of muzzle, dark well placed eye, nice outline, clean straight  front with nice amount of lift, good bone, level topline kept on the move, nice muscletone  just needs to body up in rib to balance out. Best Puppy Dog.

 

2nd. Harkin’s, Listcall Uncle Buck In Harkline, bl/br, smaller pup overall than 1st, handsome head, clean in muzzle, tight lip, well off for bone with      tight feet and short nails, in good coat and condition.

3rd. Fell & Smith`s, Scratchline zeus

 

  JUNIOR DOG 4

  1st. Cartwright’s, Zakstaff Game On JW, strong head deep through skull with a pleasing expression,good ear carriage, short in muzzle with strong underjaw, straight boned front with good width and tidy feet, good length and depth to ribcage, a nicely balanced dog of good overall proportions. Reserve Best Dog


2nd. Bryan’s, Valglo Legionnaire, br, a little heavy in head size for me would prefer cleaner muzzle, neat ears,  balanced  body front to rear, decent angulations, good condition


3rd. Haywood’s, Lukes Like Trouble


  
YEARLING DOG 5


1st.  Wilson’s, Bullhawk Code Master, b/white, a topsize dog overall but balanced, large clean deep through skull with good length to muzzle, keen eye, well boned front of good width, level topline, a little over in rear angulations, well muscled, good coat and pigment.


2nd. Priest’s, Mintmar Got The Look JW, br, pleasing head shape with clean muzzle and neat ears, a little light in eye, wide front with ample bone for size, good length to ribcage, in fit condition.


3rd. Wilson & Rodgers, Chuckys Black Lad
 
NOVICE DOG


 
1st. Wilson&Rodgers, Chuckys Black Lad, b/white, good sized head,nice dark well placed eye, short in body with good topline.


  
2nd. Haywood’s, Lukes Like Trouble, red, dark eye, good depth to muzzle, true front of good width, correct tail set, good coat and condition.

   3rd. Austin`s, Robonyx Highest Esteem

POST GRADUATE DOG 2


 
1st. Price’s, Little Beau Geste, b/white, standard sized overall, nicely balanced, good skull ratio, front is a little tight on shoulder but nicely boned and straight, great topline, very good feet and nails, good angulations and tail set, moved well.


 
2nd. Milner’s, Iluvstaffies Del Boys Dream, white/br, large skull with dark eye and tidy ears, wide front, well off for substance all round.



MID LIMIT DOG 3


1st. Rhodes, Willowstaff Black Marauder, b/br, has many virtues but I would prefer more substance, very clean head/lip with good muzzle, light in eye, super straight front with neat feet, very clean off the shoulder, enough width for height, level topline, good rib,  profile spoilt by slightly over angulated on rear, moved very well.


2nd. Clark’s, David Brown, red, handsome head with dark eye and strong muzzle, dark pigment, front a little narrow but straight and well boned, level topline, longer in body and liked overall construction of 1st, close decision.

 

   3rd. Milner’s, Iluvstaffies Del Boys Dream.



LIMIT DOG 7 (2)


1st. Lister & Callaghan’s,  Mafia Don At Listcall, br/white, standard sized dog, well defined typy deep through head, keen expression, clean muzzle, a compact dog with a short back and well sprung rib, level topline and good angulations, good height to width ratio to front, spoiled      a little by untidy feet, super condition well muscled and hard, moved efficiently. Best Dog, Best in Show.


 
2nd. Wall & Webb’s, Manark Predator JW, b/br, typy head, nice expression and good ear carriage, wide straight front, short back, level             topline, in good fit condition. 


 
3rd. Wilson’s, Bullhawk Code Master

1st. Rodgers, Berrystock Devils Advocate, b/br, clean head with strong muzzle, well placed round eye, wide front, good bone, tidy feet with dark nails, good tail set , in hard condition.

 

    2nd. Milner’s, Iluvstaffies Del Boy Dream.
